The internet needs you to do your duty and vote for the best mods of the year 2008.
So go on ModDB, search for your favourite mods of any game and the click to vote. You can vote on as many games as you want… For added power, do it as a registered member, as guest votes only count in an event of a tie…
My votes went to only Half-Life 2 mods; Suicide Survival, Zombie Panic! Source, Zombie Master, Insurgency: Modern Infantry Combat, Battle Grounds 2 and Pirates, Vikings & Knights II. If you haven’t checked them out yet, do so. And remember to vote for them.
Also, the Zombie Master development team just released the 1.2.1 patch, with some bad news to boot…
This release is the last ZM release. I (that is, theGreenBunny) am ceasing development to pursue other interests, and seeing as the rest of the team has already been otherwise occupied for much of the past year, that means development as a whole will not continue.
If you haven’t checked it out yet, I’ll summarize it for you.
Take Left 4 Dead, remove the AI Director and put one of the players in the boots of that said director, and add up some epic levels with different objectives to do, other than just the go from point A to point B that Left 4 Dead boasts.
It’s fun.
